It’s a high maintenance colour, but white bikes just look much better than those with multi-colour schemes and slash-a-minute graphics.
The use of white as a primary colour on products could very likely be attributed to Apple, which created a family of all white music players, phones and laptops and then became the driving force behind a wave of all white i-Accessories.
As if the owners of these accessories wanted to match their cars with their iPods, white has also spread to the automotive world, as evidenced by white overtaking silver as the most preferred car exterior colour.
It’s starting to creep into the bike industry, with more bikes released from 2011 having a solid white scheme. I’ve picked out a few of my personal favourites for you to enjoy. These bikes are already examples of great motorcycle aesthetics, but I chose them because they look just stunning in white.
